Introduction
Hello, my name is Bryan Pinero, and I am a student who is currently taking the Cambridge-offered course AICE Media Studies Level AS. I am intrigued to take this course because I am someone who has always been connected with media as a whole, so I am looking forward to seeing the dynamics and intricacies within it. I recognize how important media is, as it has the power to entertain us and enlighten us with information, both good and bad about topics and themes concerning the current environment of our world. For Component 1 of this course, I made the decision to do the print magazine option over the movie intro. The main reason for this decision is because of my experience in creating magazines from when I took a course on the Adobe program, InDesign last year.
