My Vision

This post will serve as a foundation for what my AICE Media Studies Component 1 will be based on. As the year progresses, it is important not only for me but for the viewers or graders at Cambridge to have a good or well-established basis for what my Component 1 will be focused on. It is important for me to stay loyal to this basis or at least come back to this post and alter it slightly if it must.

For my AICE Media Studies Component 1, I will be doing the "Magazine task (print)" option. This magazine will based on the topic of film or movies. For the feature article, I plan to make it about the most anticipated movies of 2024, as that is when this magazine will be finished and later on reviewed by the people who grade my AICE components or exams. By making this the feature article, I am making the magazine seem mire timely relevant as I am writing about what movies this year are the most anticipated by the public rather than a focus on upcoming releases, which I feel over time will be a stale topic.

I plan to make the magazine have a modern look and that encompasses the feel and look of a film-focused magazine as well. I plan on achieving this through the use of a color palette that has colors that are associated with the movies, such as red, black, grey, etc. I will mainly fonts that look modern and informal, straying away from fonts that appear more formal, such as serif fonts.
