Finding the Color Palette (Part 1)

For one of the first steps, I decided to start looking for the color palette that the magazine will follow or stay consistent too. With my intent being that the magazine will focus or feature film, I am already imagining that the color palette will be one that includes red, dark red, grey, white, and possibly brown.

I have this vision because when I think of movies or film, I think of the movie theater, a place I have gone to and have seen all throughout my life. And to me, the movie theater, along with the topic of film really does encompasses these colors, or at least colors that are similar to the ones listed. The red popcorn bucket, the red or black seats, the black camera, the dark theater room when you're watching a movie.

With this vision, I began to pursue it by going to a color palette website that my Adobe InDesign teacher last year, Mrs. Romero, showed my class, and one me and my peers used often and repeatedly during that time. Upon looking for a color palette, there are many options that intrigue me that still stay essentially loyal to my vision.
