Taking the Pictures

    With the topic of my magazine being about movies or film, I had the vision and the idea that for pictures, I would be taking them at my local movie theater, where me and my father go from time to time. So on one of the occasions that we went to see a movie, I took the opportunity to begin taking pictures of the movie theater at multiple locations and spots that I could think could be relevant in the magazine with my iPhone 12. My father was helping me with the photography as some of the photos were taken on his iPhone 12 Mini, and I feel that those pictures were better quality in comparison to some of the ones I was taking.
    The pictures taken were of the movie theater building outside, the front entrance of the theater, posters outside the theater, the ticket booth, the inside of the theater, the inside of one of the auditoriums, a place of guest services, the entrance of an auditorium, and the walkway of an auditorium. I had no exact prior vision of what pictures I was going to take, but I knew I wanted to include the seats of an auditorium. I felt that they were an important piece to symbolize movie theaters and therefore symbolize movies as well.
    I had no exact vision because I knew there would be a multitude of things to take pictures of at the movie theater that I could include in my magazine. Overall, I am satisfied with the pictures taken and feel like they work well for the magazine. I believe what I have will work well for my magazine. The pictures above are some of the ones taken that will be in the magazine.

     Another important step that was necessary to create the magazine was picking out the fonts. Out of all the different text sections or text boxes, the font for the title of the magazine was by far one of the most important, if not the most important for me to focus on and really the pick one that I both like and feel suits the magazine as the title is one of the first components that grabs the eye when looking at a magazine.     For the title, I already had a vision of how I wanted it to look or at least, a foundation of the essentials for the title font. I felt that the title font should look modern, good while capitalized, and devoid of looking formal, such as cursive fonts or fonts with serifs. Every year, moviegoers are expecting and excited for many new and interesting films to keep them entertained. With the new year, we have a new lineup of films set to release, varying from the musical comedy “Mean Girls” to the science fiction monster film “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.” With all this in mind, here are some of 2024’s most anticipated films.
