Making the Article Pages: Inspiration

    While I had the vision to make a magazine article about the most anticipated movies of 2024, I was not sure how I was going to make the magazine article pages. But thankfully, I found this magazine article page in the same template I used as inspiration for my magazine cover page. 

   While it was a great help and inspiration for the first magazine article page, I immediately knew there would be some changes made. I was considering using a pull quote on my page, but I thought it was too conflicting and complicated to format alongside my article, especially when I was not sure at this time how my article would look when formatted into this page. I would not use the same font for the title and would change the pink to red to better suit the color palette and theme of my magazine. The picture would also be cropped so that it does not look like it completely covers a portion of the page and that the page borders would be more visible. 

    Overall, this page is a great inspiration and template to use for my first magazine article page, but there are certain changes I have in mind that I do want to incorporate into my actual first magazine article page. I believe these changes will look good and will better suit the theme and look of my magazine.

     Another important step that was necessary to create the magazine was picking out the fonts. Out of all the different text sections or text boxes, the font for the title of the magazine was by far one of the most important, if not the most important for me to focus on and really the pick one that I both like and feel suits the magazine as the title is one of the first components that grabs the eye when looking at a magazine.     For the title, I already had a vision of how I wanted it to look or at least, a foundation of the essentials for the title font. Making the Magazine Articles Page: The Article

Every year, moviegoers are expecting and excited for many new and interesting films to keep them entertained. With the new year, we have a new lineup of films set to release, varying from the musical comedy “Mean Girls” to the science fiction monster film “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.” With all this in mind, here are some of 2024’s most anticipated films. First, we have “Mean Girls,” an adaptation of the 2018 Broadway musical, which is an adaption of the original 2004 film (Couch, 2024).
